STBC Youth

STBC Youth is on Friday nights, 7-9pm at the church, and for high school students up to the age of 17. It is a great way to build friendships, have fun, eat snacks and delve into Truth!

At STBC Youth we are intentional about fun, faith and friendship. Each term the leaders prepare engaging activities / events for the youth to connect and have a ball. Some of the nights include:

• Games Night
• Glow Up Night
• Nerf Night
• Trivia Night
• Cooking Night
• Movie Night
• Campfire Night
• Minute to Win It Night
• Putt Putt Night
• Emergency Services Visit
• Guest Night and more.

At STBC Youth we are intentional about discipleship. Whether at the beginning or at the end of the night, the leaders continue to work through a series with the youth, learning about Jesus and unpacking a biblical world view on different topics. This year we have looked at a series on “Who am I?”, “Truth Defined”, as well as “Foundations”. Our desire is for the youth to not only have a fun night but also be discipled; learning about the God who loves them, who they are in Christ, how to engage with the Bible, as well as what it means to walk out the Christian life.

On Sunday mornings during Junior Church (fortnightly), the Youth touch base about what was learnt the Friday night prior. This is an opportunity for them to ask questions, go deeper into the content and further connect with each other in sharing praise and prayer points.
